We value our returning members! Choose a discounted entry within the online registration if you’ve completed one of our adult programs before! It’s our way of saying THANK YOU for being the backbone of our program each season!
Program completion medals! New members (those who haven’t earned a medal yet) will receive a program medal upon completion! All members, returning and new, will also earn extra lanyard pins for every session you complete!

Sean has over 35 years of running experience from middle school through competitive collegiate running and beyond! He has coached both adults and youth in the Portland community for nearly 25 years. Sean also owns all the Foot Traffic stores in the area and is an abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm for you to lean on throughout the season. His training philosophy centers on the simplicity of the sport to allow for both short term gains and improvements while enabling you to enjoy a LIFETIME of running and walking without being overwhelmed. He believes running and walking should be inexorable from the rest of your life by creating a framework of socialization and goal creation.
Pace is highly individualized, but sometimes you just need a simple assessment to get you started. But sometimes you just gotta get started and make it easy at first.
