Kate Kalaris has been an avid runner for almost 20 years, competing in every distance up to several full marathons. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, she coached high school and college rowing for three years before earning a Master’s degree in Education. After spending 4 years teaching high school, she missed encouraging athletes to challenge themselves and improve.
In addition to being a youth track and cross country head coach with Foot Traffic, she has since returned to coaching adult rowing and is in the process of getting certified as a personal trainer and nutrition coach. Kate writes training plans for multiple distances and abilities in her spare time, much to her friends’ chagrin. When she’s not running or thinking about running, Kate loves to crochet and watch the Great British Baking Show. She loves to plan, train, and coordinate, and is excited to help runners and walkers achieve their fitness goals.
