  • Congratulations Fremont Fest 5K and Kids 1 miler finishers! We had a great turnout for the first year of this event and based on feedback, we'll definitely expand it next year. Click here for results! Shirts are at the store now!
  • Thank you Foot Traffic Flat participants! Nearly $40,000 was raised for the Fire Department thanks to a record turnout! RESULTS ARE HERE! Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k
  • The skinny on barefoot running & walking! We love the idea of running or walking barefoot. However, we looked in the mirror yesterday and remembered that we're your local running store, thus, we felt obligated to fastidiously fill you in on the particulars first! In addition, we want you to know that the Vibram Five Fingers (those little rubber shoes with the toes) are coming to our store this fall, so look for them soon. In the meantime, we have great minimalist footwear that can be a great transition shoe to EASE you into some barefoot trekking. Remember: Our ancestors ran & walked barefoot, but they certainly didn't live in our concrete paradise. Find soft terrain when applying the barefoot approach and when you're back on your asphalt neighborhood streets, try switching back to your regular trainers (or a lower-profile/flexible shoe at least) Click here for a pretty balanced article about the subject.
